About the event
Join our annual Resilience Run 5K on World Mental Health Day, Saturday, October 10, and move for mental health with us from wherever you are in the world.
World Mental Health Day also falls on Natalie Puente's birthday, and this virtual event invites you to run, walk, or move in a way that feels meaningful to you while raising awareness for mental health and suicide prevention. Natalie was a beloved UCLA student athlete whose life was lost to suicide. Her legacy continues to inspire our mission to create a world where no one has to face their struggles alone.
We call it the Resilience Run because resilience is not about never struggling. It is about continuing to move forward through life's challenges and reaching out for support when you need it. Movement can be a powerful tool for mental health, helping to reduce stress, improve mood, build confidence, and foster connection. Whether you run a 5K, take a walk with friends, hike a trail, or move in another way, every step is a reminder that caring for your mental health matters.
To participate, register with us and complete a 5K walk or run or movement activity on October 10th. If you want to help spread awareness and end the stigma, tag @resiliencerally and @provizsports on Instagram, or send us a message sharing how you moved and we'll share it with our community. Participants will be entered to win a giveaway from Proviz, a running brand dedicated to helping people stay safe and visible while exercising outdoors.
Everyone that registers will automatically receive one free month of therapy and discounted therapy for life with BetterHelp!
Together, we honor those we have lost, support those who are struggling, and advocate for a future where mental health care is accessible, affordable, and stigma free.
Move for your mental health. Move for someone you love. Move in memory of those we have lost. Move with us on October 10.
